"Community is the foundation to success"

I remember looking around and noticing everyone’s beautiful new statement and everyday earrings for years, but I have always had extremely sensitive ears and was afraid to step out and try something new. I finally found some earrings that were advertised for sensitive ears, but their shipping cost was the same as the actual earrings I was purchasing. So, I thought, “I could probably make that myself.” I did a lot of research and played with a few trial-and-error pieces and simply fell in love! I find creating with clay to be quite therapeutic and then to be able to pass my creations on and have someone else enjoy them as much as me is the reason I keep making new styles!

 

There is not a lot of spare time when I work a day job and spend a significant amount of time making KM Uniquely Adorned into the best business it can be. However, I love being available to spend with my family and watching my nieces and nephew grow into who they were made to be. We spend time on the farm at home and at enjoy the country life as much as we can.

 

Usually, I love to make what I like. My personal taste is very simplistic yet classic and timeless, so I always start there and let the design grow from there. But I also love attending markets. It’s where I get to meet and build relationships with my customers. I get to learn what my customers are looking for and provide for the need, especially for sensitive ears and within the context of new style trends.
